Eden Bonar

Kindergarten Teacher

Eden’s passion for education began in high school while tutoring elementary students after school, which quickly led to volunteering in classrooms and discovering her love for teaching. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio Wesleyan University, where she also worked as an assistant teacher at the university’s on-campus preschool. After graduating, Eden launched her teaching career in Hilton Head, South Carolina as a Kindergarten teacher. She later spent two years teaching first grade at a Title I school in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she also earned her certification in Orton-Gillingham reading intervention.

Eden’s approach to education is rooted in helping each student develop a genuine love for learning. She values the importance of imaginative play and is passionate about creating a classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore, ask questions and discover their own unique interests and passions.

Outside of the classroom, Eden enjoys spending time outdoors, getting lost in a good book and hanging out with her dog, Oliver, and her cat, Alfie.
