Molly Sackett

Behavior Support Assistant

Molly grew up in Greensboro, NC, and attended camp in Hendersonville every summer – causing her to fall in love with the mountains of North Carolina. She studied psychology and education at Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee and knew immediately that she wanted to come back to live and work here in WNC.

Throughout college, she worked with an after-school outdoor education program and volunteered at public elementary schools in neighboring counties. She also spent several months living and studying in Paris, France, learning about French culture and language. Every summer, she returned to these mountains to work on staff at a summer camp, running activities like canoeing, zip-lining and rock climbing.

She also has experience in adolescent mental health care after working as a school aide in a therapeutic in-patient program and is very passionate about teaching social-emotional skills to students of all ages.

In her free time, Molly loves to do yoga, hike, swim, and explore with her furry best friend, Pigeon, and check out live music with her pals around her Asheville home.
