Due to our current hybrid learning model for the 2020-2021 school year beginning March 15, 2021, the in-person learning school day begins at 10:00 a.m. Fee-based, Before School Care of students is available beginning at 7:30 a.m.

FernLeaf also offers a daily, fee-based After School Program from dismissal to 6 p.m. for enrolled students to provide families with a safe environment for times when students cannot be picked up at the regular dismissal time.

Because Friday is Remote Only, there is no Friday Before and After Care.

extended care Program Costs

  • Registration: $30 (waived for the 20-21 school year)

  • Before Care: $7 per day

  • After Care Regular School Day: $11 per day

  • After Care Emergency Use (i.e. day-of enrollment, email Caitlin Riley): $15 per day

  • Late Pickup: $5 per day 

  • Families should carefully review our After School Program Policies form that include important information about registration, payment, pickup, snack, emergency use and late pickup fees. 


EXTENDED CARE Snack Nutrition Guidelines
  • Students are provided with a fruit/vegetable and ​either​ a protein source or whole grain each day. Popcorn will be limited to special occasions and “movie days”. Parents are encouraged to send additional healthy snacks if their child finds that they need additional snack items. Please also see our After School Nutrition Guidelines

extended care Scheduling
  • To schedule After School Program days please access MyPaymentsPlus and select the desired dates. MyPaymentsPlus shows Before and After School Program days at least one month in advance.
