Miranda Norton

Miranda’s passion for students can be traced back to her early years where she started working in a preschool part time after school. She was born and raised in Madison County, NC. She started working shortly after graduation at Community Action Opportunities/Head Start. This program fosters a rich learning environment for children ages 3-5 for under income families in Buncombe and Madison County. She worked there for 9 years providing children with not only a high quality, five star preschool experience, but also with resources to food, health care, housing, etc. to assist in breaking the cycle of poverty. She also worked with Henderson County Public Schools for a few years in a Kindergarten classroom before coming to FernLeaf.

Miranda has earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. When she is not working she can be found being a wife and mother. Miranda has settled with her husband, two children and fur baby in Arden. She loves to be with her family and church family, going to sporting events to cheer for her boys, lifting weights in the gym and traveling.
