Jana Manaker

Jana grew up in Chattanooga, TN, and eventually made her way to Brevard, NC to study Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education at Brevard College. In 2018, she headed out to Colorado to pursue her Master’s in Human Learning & Development through the Reggio-inspired teacher education program at Boulder Journey School, in partnership with the University of Colorado-Denver. Jana was recognized as a National Geographic Certified Educator in 2021!

Outside the classroom, Jana enjoys spending time with her dog, Sassafras, catching up with loved ones, cooking, gardening, working at music festivals, and soaking up the outdoors whenever she can.
