Creek Campus

The Creek Campus is our 26-acre, centrally located educational home.

We opened this campus in 2016 with 10,000 square feet of educational classrooms which has since been expanded to more than 28,000 square feet of classroom space. This campus has more than 1,200 feet of frontage on Cane Creek and is neighbored by Fletcher Park, one of the premier public parks in Western North Carolina. The land for this campus was donated to the school by a local philanthropist and the buildings were constructed using local financing through the Bank of North Carolina (now Pinnacle Bank) and using local general contractors Cooper Construction and Beverly-Grant.

As part of our commitment to the local community, we continue to work with Conserving Carolina and the Town of Fletcher on the extension of the Cane Creek Greenway through the FernLeaf Creek Campus. This project has been awarded a Clean Water Management Trust Fund grant. An important part of the project was recently completed with the addition of new sidewalks and a crosswalk connecting the school to Fletcher Park.

Next will be a crushed gravel pathway along Cane Creek as well as streambank stabilization work. We are committed to supporting this important community project which will connect a variety of community resources including: the existing Fletcher Park, a planned future park and current and future greenway projects throughout the area. There are even community plans in the works that might one day connect the Creek Campus, the Wilderness Campus and other developing trail networks nearby!
