Tracy Hodges
K-4 EC Teacher Assistant
Tracy grew up in New Jersey amongst a big extended family. She attended Fordham University where she graduated with a double major in Spanish and Art and a desire to make a difference. She started by earning her elementary education license at William Paterson University.
Soon after, Tracy moved to FL where she worked as a teacher in the fields of EC, ESL, Spanish and Art education at various schools. Each classroom and student helped her grow in different ways and become a better person.
In 2019, Tracy, her husband and their two children packed up their lives and moved to the beautiful Asheville area. Here, she fell in love with the beautiful creeks and mountains, the black bears and wild raspberries, and the amazing Orton-Gillingham approach to reading.
On any day, you might find Tracy enjoying time with her family, being creative, cooking, gathering with church friends, or watching/quoting movies.
