Trace Thew
Custodian
Trace's passion for Custodial Work can be traced back to Boyscouts where he did roadside cleanups and various kinds of nature conservation services. He was born in Baltimore but grew up in Hendersonville where he developed a passion and respect for nature, wildlife, community and conservation.
Growing up hiking, fishing, camping, exploring and practicing photography in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains he always strives to live by the motto: Leave No Trace, leaving places better than before visiting, showing love and respect for nature, the communities and ecosystems he belongs to. Those experiences prepared him to look for ways to help others by doing his part to strengthen and give back the community wherever and whenever possible, striving to help make a difference whether it be small or large.
Trace graduated from North Henderson High School in 2024. When he is not busy with working and other responsibilities, he can be found spending time with friends and loved ones, walking his dog, biking, reading, listening to music, playing guitars and synthesizers, writing, composing and recording music, working on music production, mixing and mastering audio, taking pictures, and enjoying the outdoors.
