FernLeaf provides lunch options through the FernLeaf Food Truck and provides free transportation to and from school to convenient locations to the north and south of our campus to students each school day.
FernLeaf partners with Hickory Nut Gap Meats and Mountain Foods to provide local and regional meats and vegetables in our school lunches.

MITTAGESSEN
FernLeaf glaubt an und fördert eine gesunde Ernährungsmentalität bei unseren Mitarbeitern und Studenten. FernLeaf hält es nicht nur für wichtig, ihren Körper mit nahrhafter Nahrung zu versorgen, sondern glaubt auch, dass es wichtig ist, Kindern eine Vielzahl von Nahrungsangeboten vorzustellen, um ihnen zu helfen, neue Geschmäcker zu entdecken, ihren Gaumen zu erweitern und Lebensmittel aus Kulturen auf der ganzen Welt kennenzulernen. FernLeaf bietet eine Vielzahl einzigartiger und gesunder Mittagsoptionen für Studenten und Mitarbeiter zu einem bescheidenen Preis.
Unterstützung für bedürftige Familien wird bereitgestellt basierend auf Föderale Armutsrichtlinien. Wenn Sie finanzielle Unterstützung wünschen, senden Sie bitte hier eine E-Mail. Wenn Sie den FernLeafer Lunch Fund unterstützen möchten, gibt es in My Payments Plus die Option „Lunch für einen Buddy kaufen“.
Das Mittagessen ist à la carte, d. h. Sie bestellen und bezahlen nur die Tage, an denen Sie es für Ihr Kind wünschen. Bitte geben Sie Ihre Bestellung bis Freitag um 13:00 Uhr VOR der Woche auf, für die Sie bestellen. Wir können keine verspäteten Bestellungen berücksichtigen.

HINWEIS: Schulessen können bis zu 2 Wochen vor dem Essenstermin bestellt werden. Essen für das Mittagessen wird im Voraus bestellt und bezahlt, nachdem eine Bestellung aufgegeben wurde, daher leistet FernLeaf keine Rückerstattungen für Mittagessen, die aufgrund von Konflikten mit der Feldarbeit, Abwesenheit oder anderen Umständen, die zu einem verpassten Mittagessen führen, ausfallen.

SNACKS
FernLeaf-Studenten haben einen geistig und körperlich aktiven Tag. Wir bitten alle Schüler, jeden Tag einen gesunden Snack einzupacken, um ihren wachsenden Geist und Körper zu stärken. Wir haben eine NO-Soda- oder Süßigkeitenrichtlinie.
TRANSPORTATION
FernLeaf offers bus service to help students and families who might otherwise not be able to access our unique programming. Free morning pickup and afternoon drop off is available in convenient locations throughout the Asheville and Hendersonville areas.
Seats are limited, so access to bus transportation is determined through a lottery, similar to the regular student enrollment process that happens in the July PRIOR to each school year.

FernLeaf also offers a daily morning shuttle service departing the Creek Campus at 7:45am for families with students at both the Creek and Wilderness Campuses. Families may drop off all students at the Creek Campus between 7:30 and 7:40am to use the shuttle. The shuttle may not be used once it has left its loading area. There will be no shuttle service available in the afternoon except for students enrolled in Extended Care or after school activities.
Our buses are provided FREE of charge to our school population. We need your help to keep our buses rolling! FernLeaf buses save gas money, are convenient for families, and help make our unique programming available to more students. Since charter schools do not receive funding specifically for buses, can you help us to cover the $600 per student/year cost? Donate below!
