Robin Seidman
K-4th Grades EC Assistant Teacher
Robin’s true passion of working with children and adolescents began when she was just a
teenager. Growing up, her siblings were significantly younger, and she often took on the role of
teaching them new skills. In her late teens, she began working in childcare and with a party
event planner organization for children in order to diversify her knowledge. Prior to FernLeaf
Robin has 12 years of experience working in the mental health field. She was directly involved
with her students and managed teams in both the residential and academic settings. She has
an extensive background in supporting students and teaching them executive functioning and
social-emotional skills. Robin’s goals of supporting, guiding, and empowering her students
encompasses her efforts.
Robin earned her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, with a specialization in Behavioral
Analysis at Saint Joseph's University.
Robin grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia until she made Western North Carolina her home
in 2009. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her 2 children, locating family
friendly events in the area, bowling and watching soccer and football.
