Kelly Morgan

Kelly's passion for teaching can be traced back to teaching her baby dolls, Barbies, and stuffed animals in Greenville, South Carolina.  She grew up in the upstate where she had dreams of being just like Vanna White (Wheel of Fortune), Mariah Carey, and teaching little humans to thrive.  

She is a graduate from Southern Wesleyan University where she majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in missions. She loves to travel, meet new people, explore nature, read books, and learn new things. Those passions and experiences prepared her to achieve her National Board Certification and write multiple grants for STEM education as well as an outdoor classroom for students in the western North Carolina area.

Kelly has taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. When she is not busy with teaching, she can be found taking pictures, singing, cooking, playing in the dirt (plants & gardening), and spending time with her friends & family. She and her husband Ryan have a daughter, son, and 2 goldendoodles named Ember & Blaze.

Teaching at FernLeaf has fulfilled her lifelong dream of being her true authentic self as a teacher in an environment that encourages everyone to be successful. What a gift!
