Stephanie Wolfe
Occupational Therapist
Stephanie has been collaborating with families, teachers, daycare staff and children in their
natural environments as a pediatric Occupational Therapist for over 10 years. She graduated
with a master’s degree from the University of Florida and fell in love with the Blue Ridge
mountains while backpacking and rock climbing in the area nearly 12 years ago. She calls
Fletcher, North Carolina home with her husband Andrew, children Aurora and Arlo, and 13 year
old lab mix Laila.
She finds joy in her lifelong love for movement and dance and is a long-time company member
and choreographer with the Asheville Ballet, participating in multiple productions yearly on
stages across Western North Carolina.
Building rapport and trust in children, families, teachers, and staff is her first priority, taking a
trauma-informed lens and whole brain, holistic approach. She enjoys harnessing independence
in the children as well as confidence in the families, teachers, and staff in their abilities to utilize
the skills and knowledge gained during OT sessions. There is a deep passion in sensory
integration and Stephanie utilizes this practice frequently in sessions and truly believes that
vital sensory functioning is to the foundation of higher level skills necessary for children to
thrive in their school environment.
