Sarah grew up in West Virginia on a 17 acres farm with her family and their menagerie of animals.

Sarah has been a groundskeeper, a barista, a rowing and volleyball coach, a teacher and counselor, a wilderness instructor, a teacher assistant, a respite provider, a courtroom clerk, a judicial service coordinator, and so many other little odd jobs in between before joining the team at FernLeaf.

She knows the lyrics of more songs from the 60’s than any one person should and doesn’t care if she can’t carry a tune. Her degree in criminal justice didn’t teach her that.

She and her husband live locally with their two children and stout house cat.
