Mei Mei Luebbe

Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, Mei Lee “Mei Mei” was born and raised overseas to parents who worked in international school teaching and administration, alongside her two older sisters. During her grade school years, she attended the Shanghai Community International School, the American International School of Budapest, and the American Embassy School in New Delhi. Her education followed the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, and she earned both her high school diploma and IB Diploma from the American Embassy School in New Delhi.

Throughout middle and high school, Mei Lee was actively involved in volleyball, basketball, and soccer, as well as speech and debate. She also volunteered at a swim school, performed in musical and theatrical productions, and participated in service clubs that partnered with local communities.

After graduating from high school, Mei Lee attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies with a concentration in International Politics and a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE).

She is excited to join the FernLeaf community and begin her journey in education, bringing her international perspective, enthusiasm, and commitment to supporting students as she starts her teaching career.
