Child Find is a legal requirement that schools find all children who have disabilities and who may be entitled to special education services. This requirement covers every child from birth through age 21 and mandates that a school must evaluate any child that it knows or suspects may have a disability. Questions regarding Child Find or concerns regarding a student with a disability may be directed to Alyssa Moore, EC Coordinator (828-684-3645).
